Scenes from Manila FAME

Manila FAME

There was plenty to see at this year’s Manila FAME. The presentation was tighter and smarter, thanks to Josie Natori, who curated the roster of designers, and Ito Kish, who designed the garden pavilion (the majority of the images here were taken at the pavilion). Highlights were Kenneth Cobonpue, Arden, Ito Kish, Triboa Bay, Inigo Elizalde and Chrysara. And that whole section on tribal weaving? TDF. I left with some raffia placemats (a gift for my mom) and around four clutches made from abalone shell and mother of pearl. Not a bad showing.
